Acne Treatment
Acne Treatment in Your Kitchen.
By Antin. Some people with acne problem feel tired after trying several kind of OTC (Over The Counter) acne products. Do you have same problem? Do you spend much money and time for the products but get no satisfied improvement on your face? Go to your kitchen and find some home remedies that will help you solve the acne problem. Acne home remedies are cheap, safe, but can be very effective for you.
One of effective acne home remedies is the use of potatoes. Potatoes contain some antibacterial properties that kill acne causing bacteria. It also acts as an exfoliate agent, which will get rid of all the old skin cells around the infected acne areas. First, rinse your face with warm water and pat dry. Slice a potato in half; rub the flat edge on your acne.
Cucumber - mashed or in juice form - can be applied to sensitive skin. It doesn’t dry your skin; on the contrary, it acts like a very gentle cleanser and moisturizer. Cucumber and carrot juice mixed together should become your daily drink if you want to attack acne from within.
Salt water is very good for you if you have really oily skin. Use warm (not hot) salt water to wash your face. Salt water cleans the skin, getting rid of the excess oil. Regular store bought salt can be used but natural sea salt is even better.
Baking Soda cleans the clogged pores. Take a tablespoon of baking soda and mix with a small amount of warm water until it forms a paste. Apply gently to the face with a circular motion, being careful not to get it into your eyes, and leave it on for about 30 seconds. Rinse with warm water. Do this twice a day.
Oatmeal Mask - a great home remedy for acne that leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. You can either cook the oatmeal, then put it in the refrigerator until cool, or you can mix the uncooked oatmeal with water (purified water is best for your skin) until it forms a paste. Apply it to your face twice a day and leave it on for about 30 minutes, then rinse off with warm water and pat dry.
