Understanding Symptoms of Eczema
By Antin. The appearance of eczema varies from person to person. It also has different symptoms according to the specific type of eczema. Commonly eczema causes dry skin, reddened, itches, or burns. Other symptoms of eczema are dry and scaly skin or blisters and oozing lesions. Repeated scratching in skin may lead to thickened, crusty skin.
Symptoms of eczema can occur in any region of the body. In children and adults, eczema typically affected the skin on the face, neck, and the insides of the elbows, knees, and ankles. In infants, eczema typically occurs on the forehead, cheeks, forearms, legs, scalp, and neck.
Sometimes eczema can occurs as a brief reaction. In this case, symptoms of eczema only occur for a few hours or days. In most cases, the symptoms persist over a longer time and are referred to as chronic dermatitis.
