About Hair Loss.
By Antin. Hair is one part of our looks that remains important. Most of us, especially women care about how long their hair, how thick it is, how shiny and stylish it is. We lose our self-esteem when we start losing our hair. Appearances of hair loss problem sometimes just one bald spot, bald patches all over the head, hair that looks like a doll’s head or even no hair at all on the head.
In fact hair loss is a normal condition. Hair is growing due to rapid cell division at the base of the follicle and gets pigmented when it is pushed upwards out of the follicle. The normal growth cycle of hair consists of three stages:
- Anagen stage. Our hair stays in this stage for 2 to 4 years. Each hair will grow 15 cm per year.
- Catagen stage. This stage also called transition phase. The hair spends two to four weeks in this stage.
- Telogen stage. It’s also known as resting phase. This phase lasts about three months allowing the hair to detach itself prior to falling out.
Hair Loss problem is a condition when there is an excessive hair loss or more than normal hair loss. Normally we lose about 100 hair everyday. If you have an excessive hair loss, please try some methods to control it before the hair loss problem getting worse. See the doctor if there is no improvement after you try to cure your hair loss problem by yourself.
